The Bancker name at times was spelled with and without the "C". I received a response back from N.Y. about an Edna Bancker, her grandaughter contacted me saying she has a book on Banckers. I'm trying to find more info on a Gerrit Bancker that arrived in N.Y. in 1654. There also was a Lauren (Bancker) Matthysen that came over from Holland around 1673 and settled in Sleepy Hollow. If any of this info is close to anything you have come across, please let me know. Sincerely Steven J.Bancker
