This message board is a great place to start a search for the family.
I'm not sure how or if we definitely are related, but my great grandfather was from Jalisco, Mx. his name Ramouldo Barba. he was supposedly a single child, but then we found out he came over with a cousin of his Jesusa(female) but a cousin of mine (wife) is researching the whole family tree. most Barba's are in Chicago, Il and Blue Island, a town of Chicago. There are more in Arizona, Texas. My grandfather Gregory (Torres mother's maiden name) Barba past away several years ago. Please forward any information you may have together to me. I can pass this along with my cousins' wife- Lisa who is compiling everything. Maybe we can exchange info.
Please keep me advised. Lots of luck.
