Catherine, Thanks for replying to my posting regarding the Bards.

Yes it is very confusing to put these families in their prospectus. A descendant who is now deceased, Mrs. Ruth Lewis worked on the genealogy for years. She would just refer to her research as Bard, Baird, Beard. It can get very confusing.

Should you be in contact with any descendants that aren't aware of their Baird, Bard family in Western KY, please ask them to contact me. Samuel and Catherine and many of their descendants are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery located in the Western end of Kentucky, (actually the Jackson Purchaase). With many years of hard work the above named cemetery has been restored from a very abandoned and disgraceful site to a beautiful resting place which they deserve. We are having to maintain this with donations as there seems to be no other funding available for us for this project. We have descendants from these families buried there from Coast to Coast and also abroad also.
