Sharland, I have this Sarah's family history going back to old Noah of the 1650s.However, all I show on this Sarah was the fact she was married to Wartham Wiggs as stated in Jepthah Jr.s loose estate records listed below.
From the Loose Estate Records dated 1799 found at the North Carolina Archives in Raleigh, North Carolina File No. CR.037.508.6-- A petition by Noah Barfoot "an infant under 21 years of age by Charles Coleman his guardian, Peggy Barfoot, Wartham Wiggs and Sarah his wife: that Jepthah Barfoot late of this county left land in his last Will and Testament on Contentnea Creek about 150 acres to be equally divided between his two sons Thomas Barfoot and the petitioner Noah Barfoot. The said Thomas has since died intestate whereby his share descends to your petitioner--the petitioner request land be divided. (No date on this petition.)
So your info as to her husbands name is in question.Hope this helps.
