Greetings All,

I'm new to this forum, so hopefully some of my kinfolk can help me out a little. I had a lot of reasearch done online a few years ago, my computer crashed and now I am having to start over! I've learned my lesson about hardcopies and backing things up!

Do you have any information about this man?

Samuel and Nancy (woods?) Barkley

Sameul was likely born around 1802 and Nancy, likely 1812 if we can trust the 1850 census from Mississippi.

They had 10 children:

Amanda

Mary

James

Robert

Sarah

Thomas

Miles

Nancy

Samuel (my lineage)

and susan.

Samuels SON, Samuel is buried in an abandoned cemetery in Heath, Tx and he is recorded in Oklahoma, Denison, Tx, Royce City, Tx and Caddo Mills.

As a side note, he was a barber until his death in the 1920's. I didn't know this when I started using my straight razor and learning about making shaving oils and using shaving soap with old school badger hair brushes. I guess there's something to genetics. Haha!
