Hello Dale:
Thank you so much for all your efforts on researching my Barlow's.My Barlow's at this point are not the ones from the Binbrook area. These Barlow's came by way of New Brunswick I believe.Richard Barlow is by yet the hardest line I have ever worked on.I have tried in vain to figure out which Richard Barlow he is. Born in London England and in which quarter, so I may order his birth certificate from England. Unfortunately, I do not know how the English quarter records work. Some day, I'll have to sit down and figure it out. They are to hard.
You are right! I am descended from Gertrude Barlow (My grandmother). She did marry my Grandfather William Forsyth. no (e).I have tons of info on the Forsyth's but little on the Barlow's.I find info on the Barlow's in Canada, but I have to obtain the info in England on Richard Barlow to further my resarch. My key to resolving anything on Richard Barlow is his birth certificate. I know his parents were James and Sarah Barlow.I need Sarah's maiden name to narrow my research. I have no dates for them. To many Barlow's in that area at the same time with the same first names.Richard Barlow being born in 1871 in June. He missed the 1871 census. So in 1881 I find a few Richard Barlow's but need to narrow the field.Answer is the Birth Certificate and the mother's maiden name.
On Richard Barlow's marriage certificate to Mary Maude Day, on December 18, 1895 in Scotland, Ontario, Canada, his parents were listed as James and Sarah Barlow. I think it was on the 1911 census Richard Barlow said he emigrated to Canada in 1883.
Well, I wish to thank you so much for all the information that you sent to me. It always feels like Christmas when I receive or find information. (Especially on the Barlow's) You've made me very happy! It is quite special when someone shares information with another person. I thank you for the wonderful gift.
Once again thank you.If I can help in anyway in some research sometime, let me know.
Happy Hunting!
