I have also been trying to find out who Susanna's parents were. She is my 5th great-grandmother. This is strictly a maternal line, and I have recently found out through DNA - that this maternal line originates as being Native American. Therefore, Susannah has a Native American maternal ancestor.
Has anyone been able to investigate Henry Barnhill in Pitt Co. as her possible father?
