Barnhill/Barnwell--too many Roberts!

I'm just beginning this quest. Many helpful leads in forum posts from years ago, and contact with one helpful distant cousin (thanks). I'm trying to understand the connections of Robert Barnhills born 1703-Ireland, and 1720to30 Ireland (same person, father-son, no relation?) Robert(1703) is frequently cites with 6 children (no Robert), and sometimes with 10, including Robert. Often cited as coming to America 1734, but Robert (1720-30) cited as coming in 1760's. Any help is appreciated.

P.S. Fred Meek, I've been trying to find you since seeing your old forum posts. Kathy is a cousin I saw occasionally in childhood, and at a funeral a few years ago. I remember many childhood visits with her grandmother, my Aunt Cleo. Would love to get in touch.
