I'm glad to see some activity here in the Barnhill family forum. I'm sure there are many readers interested in this subject of William Barnhill and Ruth Boone. First, I would challenge your statement that there is a woman who "knows more about all the Barnhills than anyone!". I don't claim that title, but I can assure you, no one can. Next, for your readers - Sarah Barnhill and John Love had nine children. William Barnhill was NOT one of them. Lucretia JOSEPHINE Barnhill married William Thomas Davis on 7 March, 1848 in Oldham County, Kentucky and made their home at Ballardsville. They both are buried in Grove Hill cemetery, Shelby County, Kentucky. Lucretia's father, Joseph is buried in the old Barnhill cemetery at La Grange, Oldham County. This is the cemetery where William Barnhill is buried. Joseph and Rebecca had five children, as did William Davis and Lucretia.... You are very welcome. - Stan
