Cathy - I corresponded with Mr. Perrin about three years ago, and unless he has made some progress, I doubt if there is much to learn. He lives a few miles south of McComb, Mississippi where my wife's family lives. You know how it gets when visiting relatives, everyone wants to do everything in 3 days. I'm still betting I can get some information by going to Austin, researching the land grants and then trace the family back to Alabama.
