I believe I just read the story on William Barnhill. That reads like someone was drinking moonshine when they told it. And, I don't believe they were in Kentucky. As I have it they were from South Carolina. Why would Vicki Burress, a profesional genealogist, post such an accouunt as that being she has Barnhill in her line of ancestry. She should have put it in her personal history book for her immediate relatives to read and not the general public.
