Interesting post Jim Kuchardski
My Grandad on my Mum's side was called James Donald Barrass and he lived in county Durham all his life. We called him Donnie. His father, my great grandfather was called Septimus Barrass also lived in Durham all his life. He was the seventh son of a seventh son! There are a lot of people called Barrass in the area! Donnie had four brothers Bobby, Alec, Neville, and Teddy. Who knows? you might be a distant relative!
