Yes that is the family. I have traced 10 children for them, found their marriage in Bishopswearmouth in Durham in 1819 and found at least 5 of the children in Australia together with their descendants. It was hard because there were at least two other families here as well mostly from the Durham and Northumberland counties as well. My email is and I would be pleased to help you out as well as Dawn. Your father and her grandfather were half-brothers-- Edgar John son of George Barrass and Eleanor Thorpe born 1885 and Clement Edward 1905 son of George and Ada Hooke.
