Barrass from Leicestershire to Hunterdon County NJ

Hi everyone,

My Barrass family was from Nailstone, Leicestershire England. There were 4 brothers Thomas, Edward, William and John who came over at various times and settled in Hunterdon County NJ area in the 19 century. Other members stayed in England.

Thomas and Edward were Baptist ministers who established several churches in the southern Warren County and northern Hunterdon County area. Edward is buried in Belvidere, Warren County NJ and Thomas in Baptisttown, Hunterdon County (stone no longer extant).

Willing to share information with interested parties on this line.
