RESEARCH - Gibson and Barrett (Barnett) Families in Warren Co. GA.
DNA has proven that our John Gibson Sr. is closely related to this Churchwell Gibson Sr. Our Gibson Family has always believed that our John Sr. and Churchwell Gibson were brothers. The Churchwell Gibson Sr. in Warren Co GA. left his land and property to Margaret Barrett and her children. Our personal belief is that Margaret Barrett was either a daughter of Churchwell Gibson Sr. or a daughter-n-law - or a sister, or a close friend.
Keep in mind that our John Gibson Sr. also had a son named Churchill Gibson that was guardian to the Barrett Children.
The Elder Churchwell Gibson died about 1805, Warren Co GA.
