Hello David,
My ancestor James BARRICKMAN born c1807, probably Armstrong Co., PA, most likely is the brother to your John, Sr. who married Sarah BEATTY. Were John. Sr. and James the sons of Michael and Sarah Elizabeth BARRICKMAN?
In my scant information: John born 2 Apr 1794, McKeesport, Allegheny Co., PA; married 1st Eleanor LOCHRIDGE. Eleanor died shortly after the wedding. John married 2nd to Sarah BEATTY. John died May 1819; will dated 11 Apr 1819, Allegheny Twp., Armstrong Co., PA. It's been awhile since I gathered this information, but I don't think I have it documented. Does this agree with what you have? Can you add anything to it for me?
I have quite a bit of information on James. I will be happy to share it. Most of what I gathered on his siblings is from June B. Barrickman's manuscripts. I've heard there were some mistakes and I know there were some regarding James and his family.
