I have a family who lived in Fayette County (possibly Uniontown or Beesontown) PA until about 1785, when they emigrated to Jefferson county KY.
The account says that Elizabeth Huckleberry or Hagelberger, born ca 1740, daughter of Benjamin, married Mr. Barrickman, possibly in Kentucky, and moved to Indiana (this is an old book, and doesn't cite sources).
Then I have a marriage for a Frederick "Barrockman', dated 27 Jun 1796, Jefferson couty KY, to Elizabeth Abbott. The Huckleberry family moved to Clark county, Indiana about 1796.
The Huckleberry/Hagelberger family also lived in Maryland. George, brother of Elizabeth, married Rosanna Wise of Washington county MD in 1763, possibly in Hagerstown.
I didn't see any other references to the Barrickman name in marriages, will abstracts (1783-1813) or the 1789 tax list for Jefferson county KY.
