Hi!Here I am with two follow-ups to you in one day.The only thing I know about Lemuel Barrington in Navarro County is the name itself.William Barrington who immigrated to America in early 1600s in Norfolk County Virginia had three sons, William, Samuel and Lemuel. The immigrant William was evidently the brother of Isaac Barrington who is pretty well documented in Craven county N.C. after he moved there in 1735.This is the line I have always felt is ours.I lost track of William's son William but he may have surfaced in Anson county N.C. (this is where the Bounds family lived for a while).Lemuel stayed in Norfolk for a while and then I didn't follow him any more for some reason. The reason I know this much about the Norfolk bunsh is that the immigrant William married the widow of a Wallace that was part of my line.Norfolk county records are wonderfully preserved and I spent a lot of time in them.Anyway, maybe you and I should look into the Navarro Lemuel since the name isn't too common. The immigrant William also had a brother named John who I know a little about.More on this if you think it is [email protected]
