Any de Barros from Macau (now part of China)? Jeronimo circa 1880

Hi,
I'm trying to trace the Portuguese side of my family and I only have limited information.

Jeronimo (Geronimo) de Barros was a Portuguese taxidermist that lived in Macau probably around the late 1800s to about 1900 when he moved to Thailand. I think his work took him up the north of Thailand to ChiangMai/ChiangRai area where he ended up marrying a Thai lady, move to Bangkok and had 4 children (male [died very young]; Lucas (deceased); Margaret (deceased) and Natalia). Margaret is my mother.

I know this is a long shot but if anyone has any information that may help with this part of the de Barros family tree, or, point me in the right direction, I would be happy to hear from you.

Fabian T
