I feel almost to be a trespasser here, as I have not put in the work that most of you have looking up our past. I have what might be an interesting source of information. My great grandfather was Marcus Barthel of Saint Cloud, MN (I think or at least that surrounding area) I have a family bible that my great grandmother had recorded the birth date and location of birth (Mostly German locations) of my family from the late 1700’s until the 1940’s. This information is kept as a family treasure with my parents, Dr & Mrs. Larry Barthel. I would be more than happy to share this information with anybody interested.
