McCormick & Tuttle

I am looking for information on Robert Lyle Tuttle. On his
WWII registration card he referenced Mrs. H. E. Bartow of 400 Jefferson Street, Philadelphia, Pa. as a contact person. He is my fathers's older (10 yrs) brother and the
grandson of Mary McCormick (1845-1918) & James Warbasse Tuttle (1836 -1902). I would like to know if Robert was
ever married? And if anyone knows anything about him, apparently there was a rift between him & my father, Everitt Tuttle. Both have passed away, Robert in the '50's & my Dad in the early '70s. Too bad I did not know that he was close to Virginia as her husband Harry E.
did not pass away until 1977 and probably could have told us alot about the family, the Tuttle's & the McCormicks. My mother told me that Robert had an auto accident that either killed his wife or fiance. My gandfather supposedly
drowned in the Raitan River in June of 1920 - maybe it had
something to do with the accident. Any help in solving this
mystery would be of great help. Thanks ever so much, Diane
Tuttle Burleigh
