Yes Molly, your Catherine is a descendant of the Jacob Bartow of Berks County.
Jacob Bartow (1818-1855) was born in Berks County and died in Darke County, OH. He married Elizabeth Weitzel and had 6 children: Isaac, Louisa, Reuben, Fayanne, Nancy and Katherine(see 1855 census). He was the son of Jacob Barto(1785-1838) and Ann Albright of Perry County, PA. That Jacob was the son of Jacob Barto (1758-1834)and Veronica ? of Berks County who is listed as Jacob Berdo in the 1790 census and served as a private in the Revolution. Jacob and Veronica,s gravestones are located in middle of a cornfield in Oley Township. This lineage is recorded in the DAR
