Hi Tammy,
Since the last contact I had with you, I have found that the original spelling of our Bearup's was Barup. If rumor is correct, 2 brothers stowed away on a ship in Ireland. Also, it is very possible they were originally from England, I cannot prove this. They came over around the late 1700's to 1823/24. My GGGrandfather was born in Auburn NY in 1824. We do not know where they came into the US at or from where.
