Benjamin Bashor's son John moved to Washington Co.,TN about 1850, and then moved to Boulder Co. were he died in 1887. What is interesting is that Benjamin's son, Jacob Bashor,
( b. 2/20/1802 - d. 8/3/1879 ) moved to Darke Co. Ohio early in the 1800's and lived there most of his life. This family was from Berk's Co. PA.. Also in the Berks/Botetourt Co. area, was a family named Garst, and Samuel Garst married a Susannah Peffly, b. 1812. The Garsts and the Bashors also had several inter-marriages. They were all members of the Church of the Brethren, and tended to move and stay together in the early years. Jacob Bashor (Benjamin's father) had 9 Children, but I don't have the names of their off-spring, but that may be a place to start looking for John S. Bashor's parents. The early Brethren Chuch kept good records of weddings and Christenings so that may be a good place to start. Even in later years, you find Ohio born and Tennesse born Bashors together in Misourri and Kansas, so they must have kept in touch over the years.
