Hi Steven,

I'm a descendent of Michael Miller Bashore/Boeshore/Beshore
(born 1816 in Berks County)...
(my ggg-grandfather)

I believe...(and I havn't confirmed it yet, this is my theory after digging for two years)...
there are 2 lines of La Baiseur one that arrived in New York about the mid 1600's and eventually moved south to PA,VA & OH...
and one that arrived in Philly around 1720's, and moved into Lebanon & Berk Counties...then onto Kansas & Missouri.

However, my grandpa told me, & my mom's cousin who still lives in PA, backed it up, that our line left France due to persecution for their religion, and went to Germany and eventually America, arriving in the 1720's.

If this rings a bell, let me know.

Larry
