I have just found out through obit and death certificate that John Bashore was my ggg grandfather. His first wife was Anna Mast by whom he had a daughter Henrietta (1845-1922), (my gg grandmother); and his second wife was Caroline Hillibush, by whom he had two sons, William and Robert.

Through a distant half cousin I have some family history which states that Jacob Bashore of the French La Basseaur, escaped religious persecution in France and emigrated to the US in 1711. He settled in Lebanon Co. Pa. He was alive as of 1754 with a wife and 7 sons and 5 daughters.

I am trying to fill the gap between Jacob and my ggg grandfather John. Any help is greatly appreciated.
