Searching for anyone doing Baskett research in Dorsetshire. I am particularly interested in knowing if anyone has worked on a Basket family, certain members of which were styled "of Dewlish".

My current focus is on one Selina Basket, b.c. 1629, who was the dau. of a Thomas Baskett of Dewlish, Dorsets.(b.c. 1599 d. ?). His wife was allegedly Elizabeth Downes and his grandparents were Robert Basket and Selina Hopton, dau. of Sir Arthur Hopton. Selina Basket(b.c. 1629)married one Edward Slaughter of Suckley, Worcestershire, but what I have found so far would indicate that this couple later relocated to London by 1664.
Regards to all,
Larry
