I have information on that French connection. I can give you that information. I can give you information on the Bible printers.

I have a Ruth Baskett Teague who married John M Jones who produced my direct line.

According to a now deceased cousin, Ruth was born 27 Feb 1766 in Chatham Co, NC to Thomas Baskett and Ruth ??? She died in Alexander Co, NC in 1840. Fa born abt 1740 Mo born abt 1744

There is a Ruth Baskett who was born 1730 Orange Co, NC to William Baskett and Ruth.

There are some Basketts in VA at this time and prior.

What do you know about the connection to France? The French person could have died in England or Ireland.

Tell me what you know about this family and then I can give you some more information. Thanks in advance!
