Hi Martha,
I saw your message on Genform asking about Gladys Basford.
http://genforum.genealogy.com/bassford/messages/243.htmlhttp://genforum.genealogy.com/bassford/messages/243.html
I think I have a little information that might be of help.I believe that she is the Gladys Bassford listed as #21 in this report. There are a lot of question marks and unproven links in this branch of the Basford family, but this might give you some leads anyway. If you have more information on Gladys and Frank, I would love to compare notes on you.
By the way, if you haven't run across it, you might want to check out the Basford webstie
http://www.basford.org/genealogy/index.htmlhttp://www.basford.org/genealogy/index.html
We have posted quite a bit of census data, etc. there, some of which relates to this line.

There was a Solomon Bashford/Bassford in New York City in 1800, in Pawlet, VT in 1810, and Wilton, Saratoga Co., NY in 1820. [1]Given the name pattern, he might be the father of the Solomon Bassford who was born abt 1805 in New York, [3] and therefore thehusband of Roxanah. If not, he probably is related somehow.
