I have recently received a geneological list from the Huguenot society of Virgina. It goes back to Edmund. The list is Edmund, Issac, John who married Hannah, and then Elizebeth. This confirms the verbal tradition of John A. Baize having a sister and the DNA seems to confirm the tradition of there being a brother, Abednego. The list has Edmund, Issac and John as spelled Basye. There is also a Huguenot listed of Peter Bayse. The DNA testing keeps referring to the line of Peter. But, both are listed as Huguenots with the only difference being the transferrence of the 3-4 letters of their last names.I am wanting to secure a place on the roles of the Huguenot society as a direct decendent but am in need of the 'proofs' ie:books, certificates, etc which links the line of John A. to Hannah and thus his father John. Can anyone assist. The society is not demanding originals.thank you
