There were more than one Thomas Jecfersons in central AL. The senior James Madison had a brother named Thomas Jefferson that was married to a Barbry Ann Johmson and then to Fatima Wyatt. He lived in Autauga County and was murdered there in 1849. The information that I initially posted was from an interview in the 1911 Arkansas census of Confederate veterans.
