I am searching for information regarding the identity of the parents of Lucy Jane Bates, b. VT (1820-1892).
At present, it appears that her parents are John Bates (1779–1851); and, Sarah Bates, b. VT (1789–1866). (SOURCE: "Walker Cemetery" burial records. Mooers, Clinton County, New York).
I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone with information about this Bates line.
