Luella Bates

I am trying to find any information on a woman named Luella Bates who worked at the FWD between 1918-1921. She was a test driver and drove a truck for the FWD. I'm looking for any of her ancestors. She supposedly lived in Pella, WI during that time according to newspaper articles. I have not been able to find her in the 1920 census. I have a movie of her and pictures from some books and from popular science. I have numerous articles from the newspaper. She presents as being single as she is listed as "Miss" Bates, girl trucker. I believe she was in her early to mid twenties at the time. If anyone has any information please contact me.
Thank you,
Heather T. Strong
