My mother's ancestors may link into your Batty lineage. I have been able to trace back to a John Batty of Hedon, born about 1773. In the IGI John and Robert Batty figure quite heavily in the Hedon area both before and after this time. I have a fairly complete listing from my John Batty, but have not yet been able to link him in to the many Batty predecessors.
