My grandmother's maiden name was Baty. Since my grandparents had a house fire, we cannot find much on her. Maybe with similar spelling, someone may come across with something. All I know is her name was Lottie Olivia Baty born in Kansas that came off my mother's delayed birth certificate. I have a birthdate of 1-16-1885. Her father's name was George Baty. Some relatives remember she had a brother that had visited. I know she died 10-18-1936 after surgery and is buried at Sinking Creek Cemetary, Dade County, close to Everton, MO. She married my grandfather, William Walter Underwood (went by Walter or W.W.) He was born, raised, and he and Lottie raised their family same area, Dade Co, Everton, Mo. He died 6-10-1965 and is buried next to Lottie in Sinking Creek Cemetary. I notice your relatives are not from the same area, but one never knows when paths may meet. It could possibly connect with Beatty, or that similar spelling. Thank you. Maxine Ballew
