I talked with my uncle this week-end by phone. I plan to see him this next weekend, 19th. He said my grandma's parents ran a grocery store at Comet, a community between Ash Grove and Everton, Mo. That is probably where he met my grandfather. There is nothing there now. Only had a store and a mill, and church. From there they moved to north of Walnut Grove, Mo. One of her brothers is buried at Flint Hill Cemetery north of Walnut Grove, Mo - all close by. He was in WWI and should have a marker. Don't know his name, but my uncle may be able to remember. The cemetery should have records. I will visit the cemetery and see what I can come up with. One brother was named Maurice Baty and lived at Willard, Mo. Unfortunately, I do not have any dates yet, but hope to find out something. Does any of this connect at all? I know it isn't much additional information, but will keep trying. Thanks - Maxine
