I am now further on and have established that my maternal grandmother was Catherine Riley (Mary Anne was her sister)and married Frederick Batty on 8th May 1900. Catherine was staying at 3 Back Bilberry Street in Angel Meadow when she married and Frederick was staying at 54 Naylor Street, Ancoats. Catherine's father was Mark Riley, a painter, (Deceased). Frederick's father was Joseph (42 Years) and the 1891 Census shows that also at 54 Naylor St were: Ellen (Wife) 40 years, Frederick 13 years, Alica Anne 11 years and Joshua (Joe) 6 years.
I would love to hear from anyone who can connect or has or would like further information.
