While researching Catherine Riley in Angel Meadow, a notorious slum in 19c Manchester, I was reading a book, 'Angel's from the Meadow', by James Stanhope-Brown (1991). In the dedication the following appears:
A very special thanks to Linda Batty of the Northfield Mt. Hermon School, Mass. Her kind words of encouragement and her enthusiasm in the early days, together with subsequesnt provision of historical detail, were the main reasons behind my decision to reserach and write 'Angels from the Meadow'.

Does anyone know of Linda or the Mt Hermon School or know how I might make contact?
