Batty connection, Ontario and Michigan

I'm looking for information regarding a Batty connection between Ontario and Michigan. A George W. Batty (who I believe to be a relative) was born in Ontario but worked in Michigan in the 1880s as a marble cutter. A slightly older Batty, Calvin (age 59 at time of 1881 Census), worked there as a marble cutter at the same time; he was also born in Canada, but with parents born in NY. Both Calvin and George worked in Richmond, Macomb, Michigan. A link may be a Samuel Batty (wife's name Lucinda?), who was born about 1784 in the U.S. (birthplace unknown), but who moved to Lakeport, Ontario, Canada. If any of these names or connections ring a bell, please contact me. Thanks!
