Hello Adrian, I am hoping that you might have some more info on "William Batty ch. 14/05/1849" (3b in your tree) My wifes great grand father was a Thomas Batty and his father was William, but we have no further info. I am really grasping at straws now - but anything to grow this family tree. I have made the link based purely on the fact that Williams place and date of birth would make it possible for him to be the father of my "Thomas Batty" who was born in 1881 in Yorkshire. Another reason is that usually the oldest son would be named after the fathers father - and in this case it is Thomas - so I am crossing fingers that this is a match.
