Yes, my SEELEYs came from New York to Michigan. However, I am unaware of a Joseph. Almena would have been a half-sister to my great-grandfather, Willard Ryland 'Ryland' Seeley. He was born 01 May 1854 in New York. My information on Almena Seeley comes from a FTM homepage by Betty A Vandervort. Betty shows that Ryland's father, Hiram, married a Mina (Wilamena or Ermina) Frye and they are the parents of Almena. I cannot verify this information with Betty as the e-mail address on her homepage returns to sender. Ryland's mother was Eunice Prentice (on his death certificate). If all this information is correct, Ryland would have been 22 when Almena was born. Ryland had a brother, Hiram Bennett Seeley and a sister, Lillie Seeley.
