My ancestor Betsey E. Warren married Thomas Pike in Niagara County, NY. After he died in the Civil War, she joined the rest of her family in the VanBuren County, MI area. I have found a marriage record which I believe is her,for a marriage to a Edward Elisha House. According to the House family records he died in 1874 in Detroit. I am unable to find her under any of these names in the 1880 census. Sometime after 1874, she married a Mr. Bauder. I do not know his first name or where they were married. On the 1900 census she is living in Evart, Osceola County, MI, listed as a widow, occupation housekeeper. She died in March 1919 In Ravena, Muskegon County, MI and is buried in Evart, MI. At this time she was receiving a widow's pension under the name of Betsey E. Bauder, with the notation widow of Thomas Pike. Has anyone ran across her in their research?
