Thank you, Kathleen. I've found in searching over the years that the name is sometimes gets spelled (whether written that way, or transcribed) Bander, Bender, Border, Baurder, etc.

While we haven't been able to tie Cyrenus famiy to my Bauders with absolute certainty, after exchanging information with people privately it appears that Cyrenus was likely my great-great-great-grandfather James Lawrence Bauder's first cousin.
