I, too, have come to have a few pieces of history of the Bauder family of Circleville, Ohio. I have two carte de visite portraits of "P. Bauder Sr." and "Mrs. Eliza Bauder". The cdv mounts date to the 1860s and were made by photographer W.K. Marshall of Circleville, but they look like copies of daguerreotypes of the 1840s or 1850s, and P. and Eliza are elderly, so could have lived circa 1770 to circa 1850s (or later). They may never have lived in Circleville, but someone had their portraits copied there in the 1860s.
Happy to re-unite this portraits with a descendant who cares!
