My grandfather, Albert Paul Baumgartner, was born in NO in 1889 to William Allen Baumgartner and Amelia (Emilie) Pottier/Potier. Albert had at least the following siblings (all born in New Orleans): Viola, dob: 1886 (died as infant), Joseph, dob: 1887 (died as infant), Aline, dob: 1891 (died in 1897), William Louis, dob: 1892 (died in 1894), Mamie Ethel, dob: 1894 (Married Thomas White), John A., dob: 1896 (married Olive Havener), Ruth Elizabeth, dob: 1898 (married Joseph Tobi), Robert Henry, dob: 1900 (married Mytrle Wright), Clarence, dob: 1902 (Never married) & Annette, dob: 1905 (married Jessie Nelson)

William Allen Baumgartner, was born in New Orleans in 1864 to Rudolph Baumgartner, dob: 11/12/1827 in Weiach, Zurich, Switzerland and Seraphina Hepp, dob: Oct 1826 in Havana, Cuba. William has at least the following siblings (all born in New Orleans) Arabela Anna, dob: 1849 (married Edward Pfeil/Pfiel), Benjamin, dob: 1855 (married Emma J. Sanchez), Rosalie, dob: 1856 (married: Francois Marin) Mary Elizabeth, dob: 1858 (married: Louis Henry Tricou), Eleonore, dob: 1860 (no record of marriage), Edward, dob: abt 1867 (married Ida M. ????) William had at least 4 other siblings that died as infants or I can not find any record of them at this time.

Rudolph was probably the son of Johannes/John and Anna Pfund and came to NO in 1836 aboard the ship "Criterion".
Don't know who Seraphina's parents were, but her census records state that she immigrated in 1831 from Cuba.

If anything looks familiar, please contact me.
