I am sorry that I can't be of assistance. The individuals listed in this volume all emigrated to the Berne, Adams County, Indiana area. Lawrenceburg is nearly 130 miles away, leading me to believe that this is a different family group. Baumgartner is a very common Swiss name, as it literally means "tree gardener", a reference to someone that maintained an orchard. This was a common practice by nearly all who owned farms.
