Thanks for info re Bayard.

Do you happen to have details from a parish register or town book which would confirm her statement made almost 150 years later.

Or does anyone else have access to New york records for the period

Would like to confirm the dates for the children of William & Catherine [Mcevers married 1749] whom I believe to be
Stephen c1750
Alida c 1752
samuel Vetch c1754
William c1756
Elizabeth c1758
Robert c1759
catherine c1760
Mary c1762

or any Bayard in NY
