Hi,

I've just started to add the Bayards to our family tree and can invite whomever is looking for this family to our tree at Ancestry.com.

Just send me your email address to richard_pea@dca.ca.gov

I've started with Jean Francois Bayard and wife Mary Ann Boneau with children:
1) Samuel Bayard
1826 1898
married Martha J. Orr
2) Mary Louise Bayard
1828 1912
married Prosper Eluere
3) John Francis "Frank" Bayard
1830 1880
married Alice O. B.
4) Mary Ann Adeline "Adelia" Bayard
1832 1911
married Marcelle D. LaCroix
5) Eleanor Pauline Bayard
1836 1904
married Charles A. Weisert
6) Susan Hannah Bayard
1836 1882
married M. A. Pilard (sp?)
7) Joseph L. Bayard
1840 1930
married Nellie Helen Burke
8) Mary Elizabeth Bayard
1843 1928
married Henry Vanderburgh Somes
9) Margaret Clotilda Bayard
1848 1938(?)
married Henry Sullivan Cauthorn

I'm working on adding all of the children for these marriages and adding stories and photos to individuals that I'm transcribing from various Vincennes, Knox Co, IN, and Evansville, Vanderburgh Co, IN, history books.

My Pea family is distantly connected to the Bayards through the marriage of Mary Louise Bayard and Prosper Eluere. Prosper's son Louis J. Eluere married Anna C. Beckes, and Anna Beckes is granddaughter of Benjamin Vincennes Beckes, who married Elizabeth Betsy Frederick, widow of John Henry Pea (1766-1810), who was son of my 6th great grandparents, Jacob Pie/Pee/Pea and Rachel Regina Maquinet from Lancaster Co, PA. Its a far reach, but close enough for me to add everything I can find on these families to our tree. =)

Hope this work will help someone out there!
