This is very confuseing , I do know that the true french spelling is Bayard, but there were the Nova Scotians. And that there was a problem in Canada, any many people were sent to louisiana.I am trying to locate any info on Lihu, Rebecca and John they were siblings. I know john was the youngest.this would have been the late 1800's, I have beeen told that they come from Alabama went to Missouri then come to Arkansas.I know that some of the family went to Oklahoma then on to California. I have found records with 3 spellings so far, which are Bayird, Beard, Bayiard. Can some one help me ?
