Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I will keep digging along the Varlett lines and anything on Nicholas Bayard would be extremely helpful. Yes, let's definitely keep in touch.

p.s.it's very interesting that Gov, Peter Stuyvesant married Judith Bayard and that Anna married Samuel Bayard, presumably Judith's brother. Nicholas Varlett was Anna's second husband. I also read that the Bayard's were in Holland because of the persecutions of Charles I, I presume. Do you know what part of France they were from and if they were Hugeonauts?
